And you wouldn’t be wrong. You’re just not exactly right either.

However, before you walk away, you should know that it actually took a while before we noticed that there was no bonus games here.
And it wasn’t the fruits, bells and bar symbols that distracted us.
The bombs in the Arcade Bomb slot
There’s only one feature here – bomb symbols that can show up individually, as covering what feels like almost all 5 reels.
These bombs have a countdown feature, and when they explode, cover the reels in the exact same symbol.
Sometimes it’s vertically, sometimes it’s horizontally, or scattered across several reels, but usually you get enough to get a clump of wins.
It’s quite exciting seeing those bomb count down and set themselves off to give you a screen of fruits. Bonanza megaways.
Fun, but not long-lasting entertainment
The problem comes when, after around 100 spins or so, you do start noticing that not much else is happening here.
It’s the same problem that the Spectra slot had; a nice simple theme, with simple mechanics meaning you simply play for a short time.
Especially as even with those bombs, the wins you get in this Arcade Bomb slot game are only around 20x your bet. Granted you won’t lose fast either, but the thrills quickly lose their appeal.
Personally, we are bigger fans of the Lucky Little Devil slot by the same provider which doesn’t give you particularly bigger wins, but certainly more action.

Locked Reel Bombs: At any time any of four different types of bombs may show up instead of a symbol.

Arcade Bomb Review Conclusion
We actually had good fun on this Arcade Bomb slot on mobile, for a short while at least, as we eagerly waited for those bomb symbols to explode.
A classic fruity slot theme helped give this a familiar feel, whilst the graphics still having enough of a modern edge to appeal.
Unfortunately, the lustre of the bomb feature soon wanes as you start to miss symbols like wilds and scatters.

Fruit and the vast reaches of space are brought together at last in this engaging and creative online slot machine developed by Red Tiger Gaming; it’s called Arcade Bomb and it’s also a little bit reminiscent of early video games in it’s presentation and layout – read on to find out more.
Arcade Bomb is a five reel slot with three rows and twenty fixed paylines although wins can be formed from left to right, right to left and even on the middle three rows if there are matching symbols. The grid-like reels are transparent and they float against a backdrop of small pixellated objects drifting through infinite space.
A range of traditional symbols occupy the reels and they include glowing red sevens, golden bells, watermelon slices, strawberries, oranges, lemons and cherries.
There’s no wild symbol in Arcade Bomb but there are four coloured bombs which we shall explain shortly.
Arcade Bomb Bonus Features
Reel Bombs
This is where all the extra action happens and it all kicks off every time a bomb lands on the reels; there are four bombs of different colours and each will count down to one with each reel spin. When the countdown reaches zero each bomb explodes and turns all symbols in it’s range into matching symbols.
- Green Bomb – explodes in a cross pattern affecting adjacent symbols.
- Blue Bomb – explodes right and left affecting adjacent symbols.
- Yellow Bomb – explodes up and down affecting adjacent symbols.
- Purple Bomb – explodes in a star shape affecting adjacent diagonal symbols.
You will regularly see more than one bomb on the reels and they will detonate each other if they are in range, resulting in many more matching symbols.
Verdict
Arcade Bomb is a very clever and engaging slot – it’s all action with bombs constantly exploding with the potential for big wins. This is a real winner from Red Tiger with an RTP of 96.15%.
